An innovation of the 2010 edition will be the organisation of the “1st Expo of Table Olive”, an event within the event that will be a reference and meeting point for the demand and supply sides of this industry.
The event's main goal is to build wider knowledge about extra-virgin olive oil and its characteristics.
The targets are those areas of Europe whose significant economic growth in recent years has made them receptive to an increasingly quality-focused niche market; and also the general public and those who need to be able to offer the final consumer one of the most characteristic "mediterranean diet" products, paying increased attention to discernment of taste.
Olio Capitale expo will take the form of a “container of activities” designed to attract visitors from Italy and abroad, as a top event that will have the city buzzing.
On the occasion of the 4th “Olio Capitale” Fair, Fiera Trieste Spa promotes the 4th edition of Olio Capitale Competition for typical, quality extra-virgin olive oil from the Mediterranean area.
2010 winners will have an exhibiting space for free at 5th Olio Capitale in 2011!
